Let It Snow!

Today was Hamburg’s first official day of snow.  Unfortunately, we didn’t have a lovely dusting of snow covering the ground as temperatures were above freezing (well only just, it was 2C).  Therefore it was more like icy cold rain than snow.  Still I saw flakes of snow falling from the sky and it did look beautiful.

The temperatures here are set to plummet as the week progresses, getting down to -5C on Friday.  I’m hoping as the temperatures drop that we will start to snow settling on the ground and making everything white.

At least the snow will make the cold weather worthwhile.

When it starts sticking and is making the place looks beautiful, then the snow will be worthwhile, however, it is still just icy cold rain at the moment.
